When I paint outside alongside the bodies of water in my watershed, I start by observing the relationship between flows and spaces, colors and textures, around me. These watercolor paintings are meditations that help me turn over rocks, play in the trickling streams, and sink my toes into the muddy patches in the landscape of the spiritual journey.
