Every time I encounter a bookshelf, I always leave with an armful of books. I'm known to go into the library and stand mesmerized in one place absorbing the book that has caught my attention. As a source of wisdom and inspiration, books make me realize the depth of my hunger learning. Sometimes this need to read the whole thing at once gives me "spiritual indigestion," and I have to remember to slow down and perhaps savor the words at a lectio divina kind of pace, letting the phrases deeply transform me and stay with me long after I leave the library.  Check back here are some of the writings that are shaping me these days.
